In anticipation of our visitors last week, Bradford and I decided to give Lily a thorough scrubbing. Okay, so it was a little more gentle than the word scrubbing suggests. And, the title of this post is also a little misleading. Because Lily's "stump" as we like to call it - her umbilical cord - remains intact, we can only sponge bath. No real bath until the stump falls off. But, a good sponge bath is worth documenting - and document it we did.
